Communication project leader

Dat Foods

Dat Foods is an social impact enterprise aiming to cooperate with farmers to improve their income.

Every day, my goal as a communication project leader is to connect with our target audience using one simple motto:

"Every Vietnamese consumer deserves access to natural, healthy, and organic foods."

RECIPE CAMPAIGN

Dat Foods aims to promote the use of peanut butter and cashew oil in Vietnamese cuisine through our Recipe campaign on social media platforms. The campaign introduces creative recipes to customers, dispelling the idea that peanut butter is only for sandwiches and cashew oil is only for dieters.

Throughout this project, I had the pleasure of working remotely with the Dat Foods interns. With a cooperative team, everything flowed smoothly. Together, we conducted research, tested recipes, took photos and videos, and created content. This allowed us to gain a better understanding of the products, their nutritional value, and their benefits. Our passion for the brand shone through in the social media products we developed.

This campaign taught me that distance is not a barrier, and how to quickly adapt to modern forms of work.

TEABREAK PROJECT

TeaBreak, a project established by the En Ket Noi community, aims to showcase and promote the products of our members. I am honored to be appointed as the project manager for this inspiring journey.

At the outset, designing product packages, managing finances, and personnel were major challenges. But with perseverance and the invaluable guidance of social impact entrepreneurs in Vietnam, I was able to create a comprehensive and professional platform for the project.

Currently, we are seeking grants from international organizations to gain funding. Stay tuned for updates on the progress of this meaningful project in the near future!

Head of organizing committee

Marketing Hive

Marketing Hive, the First-Ever Summer Camp Focused on Marketing in Vietnam, is created for students between the ages of 19 and 23 in fields such as economics, marketing, and architecture, who have a passion for the marketing industry. However, in the process of organizing this program, our team encountered some significant obstacles:

  • Difficulty securing sponsorships during an economic downturn
  • COVID-19 and social distancing measures implemented right after the kick-off event
  • Negative effects from working remotely for the first time

Despite these hurdles, I led my team with a comprehensive approach. By listening to my colleagues, tackling issues jointly, and motivating everyone with a realistic and objective plan, we were able to overcome these challenges.

Stay Strong Saigon fundrasing campaign

"Stay Strong Saigon 2021" fundraises for Saigon field hospitals, supplies lockdown areas with fresh produce, and rescues agriculture during Ho Chi Minh City's intense Covid-19 pandemic. "School for SSS" educates and fundraises with high school and university students nationwide.

In this project, I coordinated personnel to implement the fundraising campaign through three main activities:

🌻 Leveraging internal resources, where each DAV Marketers member served as a messenger to spread the message and call for community support.

🌻 Connecting with teachers, students from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, partners, and previous sponsors of the club to seek support.

🌻 Organizing a series of webinars on Marketing expertise with famous speakers rich in experience for students to provide knowledge and raise funds through ticket sales.

Coordinator of Collaborators

Green SEAGames campaign

The 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) was held in Vietnam with a focus on promoting a "Healthier Southeast Asia." The event aimed to combine fair sportsmanship with environmental consciousness by minimizing plastic waste. This campaign showcased Vietnam's stunning landscapes and hospitality while driving eco-friendliness.

The "Green SEA GAMES" campaign included:

  • Social media efforts to raise awareness about reducing plastic waste during sports events.
  • Two events, Plastic Collection and Cleanup, where participants earned green medals by directly collecting plastic waste at My Dinh Stadium, the venue for SEA Games 31 matches.

The primary challenge of this campaign was collaborating with various levels and departments during event organization. Successfully executing this project taught me a lot about effective communication, understanding customer needs, and developing quick, suitable, and resource-efficient solutions.

Result

  • Achieved over 9,000,000 engagements across various media outlets.
  • Engaged over 1,300 participants in the waste exchange for gifts program during the 4-day event.
  • Sorted and sent over 50kg of HDPE and PET plastics to recycling facilities.
  • Collected over 30kg of aluminum cans for recycling.

Head of Media club

Nguyen Trai Gifted Highschool

Nguyen Trai Media club is one of the most active club in my highschool. From a member of Content Department, I was given the opportunity to lead the club. This was a pivotal moment in my journey that helped me better understand what it means to be a leader.

Over two years, 50 NMC members took on the responsibility of organizing most of the major events at Nguyen Trai gifted high school. "Live the truth, breathe the creativity" - this motto inspired us to aim high and learn from our mistakes. We even published a magazine and navigated through a communication crisis that took a year to resolve.

We turned many of our crazy ideas into reality, such as a mailbox designed like a bird's nest, a passport-style ticket for events, and a giant pinwheel,...

Although I faced struggles and moments of fear while taking on such a significant role, I gave it my all and am proud of the journey and the lessons learned.
